Biography:
My journey as a set and costume designer began in the dynamic world of theater, where I discovered my passion for art and creativity. From a young age, I was captivated by the collaborative nature of theatrical productions, understanding how the collective vision of the director and the creative team profoundly shapes the audience's experience. I pursued my formal education at an art school in Bielsko-Biała, where I spent six transformative years honing my skills. Through intensive practical workshops and visual presentations, I developed a distinctive artistic style that seamlessly blends theatrical influences with cinematic sensibilities. Over the years, I have expanded my expertise to include film, drawing on my theater background to create visually compelling and emotionally resonant designs. My commitment to achieving ambitious goals drives me to lead with impact, ensuring that each project I undertake is executed with precision and artistic excellence.
During my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, I poured my heart and vision into my diploma project, which became a monumental success. It received the highest possible marks from all my professors—an achievement unprecedented in the history of the Academy. Moreover, my work was made accessible to the public, marking the first time such an honor was granted to a graduate project. This milestone strengthened my belief in the power of art to resonate with a wider audience.
After graduation, I was invited to collaborate on the large-scale production Hejter. For this project, I designed a state-of-the-art sculpture that became a crucial element of one of the film’s most defining moments. My contribution was recognized when Hejter was awarded the prestigious Eagle Award—Poland’s equivalent of an Oscar in the field of set design. This experience reaffirmed my commitment to pushing the boundaries of artistic innovation in storytelling.
I am deeply committed to the further development of my career. Immersing myself in an international artistic environment will provide me with the opportunity to work alongside world-class professionals and to reach my full potential. I am confident that my skills, adaptability, and dedication will enable me to contribute meaningfully to culture and the arts, particularly in theater and film.
I am excited about the possibility of learning, collaborating, and growing in a vibrant creative community, and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
