Kartka z Powstania” (“Warsaw Rising”) is one of the projects I completed in collaboration with VR Heroes film productions, under the direction of Tomasz Dobosz. The film received multiple awards and recognitions, including the Los Angeles Film Awards (LAFA) for Best VR Movie.
“Warsaw Rising” represents the first cinematic virtual reality feature film produced in Poland, created using advanced VR technology. The narrative depicts the story of Captain Władysław Sieroszewski, known by his alias “Sabała”, one of the Warsaw insurgents. Before leaving to join the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944, he receives a note from his daughter a message whose significance he does not yet comprehend, but which ultimately shapes his destiny.
Collaborated as a Costume Designer
I collaborated with the company as a Costume Designer on several of their projects.For this production, I was responsible for creating costumes rooted in historical accuracy while also developing visual symbolism that deepened the film’s narrative.
My work included preparing cost estimates and managing the overall costume budget, organizing the production process, hiring and leading a tailoring team, and overseeing all aspects of costume design on set.
